Colorado Rapids (MSL USA)
Colorado Rapids were the first American team we have looked after
this year, and they chose the Golf Hotel Antequera, our new destination
for 2004, as their training camp venue.
The team arrived at the venue a little tired after traveling for over
14 hours. However they were soon settled in, and were impressed with
the hotel and the facilities. Even though they were tired, they got
straight down to business. Their coach got them all training with
a 2 hour long session on the day of arrival.
For the remainder of their 10 days stay they trained twice daily,
with a 2 hour session each time. We also organized 3 friendly matches
for them against, Tronsberg a team from Norway, the Malaga B team,
and San Pedro UD…
Results:
Malaga 3 - Colorado 0
Tromsberg 1 - Colorado 1
San Pedro 1 - Colorado 3
The group had a great stay, and it was a big thumbs up for our new
destination!
